A message from Tess

Hi to all of My People (you all know who you are), Blog friends and others,
This is a note to let you know that My Pack, Darell and Judie will be doing my blog.  My body has been giving out on me for a long time and I have decided, and I have convinced Darell & Judie to let me join my furry friends, Shelby, Ollie, Shadow, Raven, Trouble, Shawn, and many others in a more comfortable place.  There are lots of balls, treats and a cat or two (Jabbers & Trouble) to chase once in a while.  I know that I have been a surly bitch at times, but my principles (don’t mess with My Food or My People) have always come first.  I think you know, I don’t share them with any other living being.  I will enjoy being with my friends and I will wait for you all to join me.  Life has been good and I love you all.
Till Then (Treats in hand, of course),
Tess

Well I'm back again and I do want to introduce you to my friends and their people.  It was difficult getting the people to get us all together for one picture, so I will introduce them separately.  You know how indecisive people can be at times.  We furry friends have a great group of people with us.  You do understand that they really are responsible for us doing this trip.
We spent  several days in West Glacier, MT, visiting Glacier National Park, viewing the beautiful country, lakes and doing some beautiful hikes.  The National Parks do not allow us on their trails of course, so we had some very good friends in the RV park that made sure we were happy with walks, treats, etc.
Then we were off to Calgary. The peace and quiet was left behind for the excitement of a young vibrant town of over a million people.  They are wonderful hosts for, what they classify as "The Greatest Show on Earth".  It is a wonderful event, with the carnival atmosphere, the state fair feeling with all of the exhibits, the wonderful entertainment and one of the greatest rodeos you would ever attend.  That all put together with beautiful weather, it could not have been better. Colleen and Judie found the Luge Ride at the Olympic Park.  They had to test it before they could recommend it, of course.  What a great time everyone that did the ride had. We celebrated Eddie's person (Bonnie's) birthday. What a party that was.  I thought they might throw us out of the Campground.  If you notice, we could see the super moon above the stage during the performance.  After that, we took off for Edmonton, AL Canada and had to check out the North America's largest Mall and then Bill & Joan had to check out the "Mind Bender Roller Coaster".  Joan's hair was curly before she went.  We then got our train rollin and took off to Jasper NP.  A beautiful place it was, but the rain started falling, so some of the people from the drier states chickened out of any hiking or birding.  We browsed the town and still had a great time.  Then we will be off to Lake Louise and I will update you later.  The people say that wifi is not very good in these parts.

Till the next time,
Tess
